On the drive in today, Ian Leslie's quip about our tech habits got me thinking—it's time for a home screen revolution. Swapping Facebook's prime placement for TED Talks on my phone, I'm now primed for insight over impulse. Scrolling's fun and has its place, but I'm reclaiming time for learning.Want to join me in turning your phone into fountains of growth, but not sure where to start? Here are some ideas to replace idle scroll time:1. Download a self-development app and set a goal for the day.2. Listen to a TED Talk on a topic outside of your comfort zone.3. Start a course on an educational platform – even if it's just the first lesson.4. Read an article related to your industry to stay on top of trends.5. Meditate with a guided session from a wellness app.6. Reconnect with that old friend you've been meaning to call or text.Who's with me? How will you use your phone for good today?#PersonalDevelopment #GrowthMindset #TimeManagement #SelfImprovement #iPhone #ProductivityBoost

Oh look 👀 a squirrel 🐿️ I recently started using the Focus setting on my iPhone, specifically the Work mode, and it’s been a game changer. Why I Love It ❤️ 🕰️ 🧘 1. It filters out non-essential notifications so I can concentrate on what matters. 2. I can choose which apps and contacts can reach me, ensuring I’m only interrupted by what’s truly important.3. It helps me set clear boundaries for work hours, making it easier to switch off and relax. If you find it easy to get distracted like I do, give it a try. It’s a small change that can make a big difference. 👀 🐿️ #Productivity #FocusMode #WorkSmart #DigitalTools #Platter #FocusOnWork #WorkLifeBalance

This is a fantastic setup if you frequently use your phone for work. Using your phone with a bent neck and continuous finger movement for long hours can severely impact your health. This mobile setup will help you be more relaxed while browsing or multitasking between your phone and laptop for work. How to build this setup:Step 1: If you are using Android check if it support OTG in your settings. If you are using Iphone check if it has accessibility touch in settings.Step 2: If you want to use wired keyboard and mouse then get an OTG connector based on your port. You can get it online or local mobile shop.Step 3: For best experience you can go for full integrated bluetooth mouse and keyboard. If you want us to create a tutorial. Write "Yes" in the comments.Stay healthy! Happy teaching!#health #teachersclubindia #teachertools

Tech Recycle Diaries - Episode 1:DIY Aesthetic ClockWhen I first found a $20 brand new Android tablet all I could think was “Score!”. But to my dismay the tablet only had 1 gb ram and was a locked tablet by an internet provider, not to mention the battery life was absolutely terrible. I quickly realized I couldn't use this tablet for normal day to day activities. So the tablet sat in my basement for about a year.Until one day, on Pinterest I saw an aesthetic digital clock. At that moment I knew I had to have one, however my wallet disagreed. Most were over $30, which is an insane amount to spend on a digital clock. So, I decided to DIY the clock myself.Note: This tutorial can work for Apple products as well, scroll down to follow the specific instructions for Apple products! What you will need:For Android:-Your piece of technology-Google Play storeFor Apple:Apple device that has an IOS of 12.5 or greater (I used the Iphone 5)-ClockPhone app or Flip Clock-digital widgetYes, It is that easy! Now that you have all your materials, you can start DIY! The best part of this project is how many old pieces of technology you can flip to create a new useful aesthetic tool that can perfectly fit into your daily life. For Android:Unlock your device. Then, go to the clock app and click “Screen Saver”.From there you are free to customize your aesthetic clock to fit your needs! For Apple:Go to the app store and search for ClockPhone or Flip Clock-digital widget. Then, download the app that you want. From there you are free to customize your aesthetic clock to fit your needs!I hope this DIY helped you find use in some old tablets and phones lying around! Make sure to like and comment what you think of this DIY, and don’t forget to send pictures of your DIY clocks!

📱 Holding myself accountable here!Last week, I clocked a whopping 26 hours on my phone...I'd love to say it was all spent consuming enriching content, but it wasn't.I have made a conscious effort to curate my 'social media library'.Attempting to increase the percentage of value-added content. It's not only about the time we spend on social media itself. But also what we choose to absorb during that time.I'm revisiting 'How to Break Up With Your Phone' by Catherine Price.Reminding myself how to reinforce healthier digital habits.I'll also be tracking my phone usage once again going forward. As we're far more likely to improve what we measure. How much time do you spend on your phone on average each day/week? (Digital Wellbeing - Android, Screen Time - iPhone)Share in the comments 👇What has worked for you when it comes to limiting your screen time?

We all know walking more is a great way to improve health and drop fat.But most of us walk only half the steps needed to minimize all-cause mortality. Here's an easy way to gamify walking that consistently works for our clients: 1. First, check your phone's step count from yesterday. (You'll find it in the Apple Health app on iPhone, or in the Google Fit app on Android.)2. Today, your goal is simple: walk at least *one* more step than yesterday.(E.g., if you walked 4,319 steps yesterday, you're gunning for at least 4,320 today.)3. Then try to inch the number up further tomorrow. And again the day after.4. If you fall short, no worries! Just start the process afresh the following day, trying to beat the new lower number. (E.g., if you're aiming for 12,245+ steps today, but only clock 6,312, tomorrow you're just looking to hit 6,313+.)The only rule: don't miss two days in a row. Extremely simple. But our experience shows, it really works.
